Welcome!
Although this site is sponsored by the International Horn Society (IHS) and run by the Massachusetts IHS Area
Representative (Marilyn Bone Kloss), anyone interested in the horn and horn happenings in the area is welcome.
The purpose of the site is to make information available between issues of the Cornucopia newsletter
and to post local, ephemeral items that are not suitable for the newsletter.
"Playing the horn is easy - you just pucker your lips and take a deep breath and
put your whole life through the horn." ~Lili Agrell, age 6
The International Horn Society recommends that HORN be recognized as the correct English label
for our instrument. Italian: corno; French: cor; German: Horn; Russian, valtorna
